Who we are & what we do

INTEGRITY Care is a non government, public benevolent organisation which builds capacity in people and empowers communities around the world.  We focus on

• providing emergency relief from suffering &
• eliminating the causes of poverty that affect (poor) people globally
• developing communities by working together to overcome local issues of health, education & water supply

How we do it
We do this not only by providing short-term aid for those in immediate, desperate need but we also provide a PERMANENT solution to poverty by helping the poor to start their own small business. To sustain their transformation we give them values-based training in business & life skills. This is called Values-based Micro Enterprise Development or MED.  In community development we establish the key issues within the community and provide the resources expertise, training, and co-ordination to bring about lasting change over the period of the project.

What we achieve Short-term
Through these methods our goal is to empower (poor) people to fulfil their God-given potential by using their innate gifts, abilities & ideas to:

• build their own future without any dependency on aid or relief
• generate their own wealth through MED, & values-based training
• determine their own community development agenda (clean water, sanitation, education, mine clearing, better housing, medical access and so on)

We get the pleasure of seeing poor people not only being successful and profitable in business, but also in every aspect of their lives, enjoying the dignity and self worth that comes with their self-reliance.

What we achieve Long-term
We have spoken of eliminating poverty as if poverty was the problem, but it is really only a symptom of many problems. Communities need to work together to seek solutions in building a better life, but they also need outside help.  Someone with expertise and resources to look at their particular situation and see what could be achieved with their co-operation and some outside intervention.  One of the very real problems is the culture of corruption that flourishes when people in positions of power and influence who use their influence for greedy, selfish gain. This problem exists as much in developed nations as it does in developing nations globally. Sadly, rich nations often prosper at the expense of the poor in developing nations, by paying influential people for access to resources. The rich get richer & the poor get poorer.

For the poor to truly prosper, this culture of corruption (focus on self-gain) must be replaced by a culture of community (focus on mutual gain). This is only possible when personal transformation happens at the ‘head & heart’ level of the poor and their leaders who influence them. By exposing leaders to universal principles & values that building virtuous & prosperous communities, we see leaders at all levels deciding for themselves how they will lead forward with integrity and shared benefit, for the national good.

So, a big part of our long-term solution to poverty is in ‘Leadership Development’ of business leaders, & political & community leaders of the current and next generation. By key-note speaking, seminars, recorded material, internet based training & electronic chat rooms, we influence generational thinking so that the future popular trend will be for values-based personal leadership in government, business and community that is directed at national benefit.

Our Leaders
Our international office is based in beautiful Brisbane, Queensland Australia a city of about 1.5 million people. Our ‘Board of Reference’ is a group of imminent people, expert in their fields, who bring a wealth of experience, wisdom and values-centred insight to our Company directors. Our ‘Management Committee’ are talented individuals from a diversity of backgrounds, who ‘team’ together to drive our nation-changing endeavours.
